Six-time All-Star forward Amar’e Stoudemire grabbed the sports world’s attention in 2002 when he entered his name into the NBA draft. With only two years of organized basketball under his belt, he graduated from Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, FL. and was the only player selected from high school that year. Drafted ninth by the Phoenix Suns, Stoudemire went on to become the first player out of high school to win the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award in 2003 averaging over 13 points and 8 rebounds per game.

Stoudemire quickly proved to be a force in the league tallying over 26 points per game with the Suns in 2005, receiving his first NBA All-Star nod, and leading his team to the Western Conference Finals where he averaged 37 PPG. Over the course of his career, he played professionally for the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, and Miami Heat, was named a six-time NBA All-Star, and won a bronze medal with the USA Olympic basketball team in 2004. Stoudemire also earned All NBA Second Team in 2013 with the Knicks, putting up more than 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists while taking the team to the playoffs for the first time in almost
a decade.
Since his retirement, Stoudemire has become a trailblazer in the art, sports, and fashion space, having created a movement between the convergence of fashion and sports. He has worn hats in multiple industries having designed the clothing line RACHEL with Rachel Roy, partook as an actor/producer in acclaimed TV series and films, single-handedly produced a series of children’s books, served as part owner of Hapoel Jerusalem Basketball Club, and became founder of The Amar’e Stoudemire Foundation. Stoudemire’s TV & film credits include Entourage, Law & Order: SVU, The Exes, Trainwreck, Nickelodeon documentary ‘Little Ballers’ (Executive Producer) and feature film ‘Beyond the Lights’ (Executive Producer). He can be seen frequently attending fashion weeks around the globe as a fixture in the fashion world and has invested in
numerous brands and productions including Spiritual Gangster, Rumble Boxing and the hit Broadway show ‘Rock of Ages.’

Stoudemire’s evolution into a pop culture icon includes preparing for the launch of Stoudemire Wines and having a heavy presence as an entrepreneur in the contemporary art sphere, recently appointed as a global ambassador for Sotheby’s, which has been uniting collectors with world class works of art for centuries. A piece from The Melech Collection was just recently showcased as an art installation at SCOPE Art Show during Art Basel Miami 2017.
